The godfathers of grunge!
Even before there was Nirvana, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam, Mudhoney rocked everyone’s socks off. They played harder, heavier and more original than other bands of their time, which was quickly noticed by the Sub Pop label. They became the label’s first success story and laid the foundation for grunge with their legendary albums “Mudhoney” and “Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge.
The godfathers of grunge have been around for more than 30 years and strangely never broke through. They made the grunge label Subpop great and showed fellow townsmen Nirvana the way to eternal fame. Maybe now it will happen, because their latest release “Morning in America” is a downright killer.
