Retro C Trop 2026 – The Ultimate Retro Festival Returns to Château de Tilloloy This Summer

Line-up Complete | Château de Tilloloy, Somme (80) | Friday 26, Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 June 2026 — Plus Lenny Kravitz on Sunday 5 July

What Is Retro C Trop?

Retro C Trop is one of northern France’s most beloved open-air festivals, held every summer in the historic grounds of the Château de Tilloloy in the Somme department of Picardie. True to its name — roughly translating as “Retro? That’s so much!” — the festival is a joyful celebration of classic rock, new wave, post-punk and ’80s pop, wrapped up in a vintage atmosphere with food trucks, free parking and on-site camping.

Now in its 2026 edition, Retro C Trop is back with arguably its strongest line-up yet — spanning three full days in late June, plus a very special standalone concert night on 5 July.

On top of the main three-day festival, Lenny Kravitz returns to France for a very special evening at Château de Tilloloy on Sunday 5 July 2026. This is a separate ticketed event from the main festival — tickets are available via the dedicated ticketing page on the official Retro C Trop website.

Artist Highlights

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts

A living rock icon. From her teenage years with The Runaways through decades of anthems — Bad Reputation, I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll, Cherry Bomb — Joan Jett remains one of the most electrifying live performers in rock history. Closing the Sunday night at Retro C Trop 2026 should be a moment to remember.

The B-52’s

Athens, Georgia’s finest bring their kaleidoscopic new-wave party to the Somme. Expect Rock Lobster, Love Shack and a crowd that will not stop dancing. A perfect fit for the Retro C Trop spirit.

EUROPE

Swedish rock legends, forever immortalised by The Final Countdown — but with a catalogue far deeper than that one anthem. Their live show consistently reminds audiences why they filled arenas across the world in the ’80s.

Ghinzu

Belgian rock royalty. Ghinzu’s theatrical, cinematic approach to rock has made them one of the most beloved live acts in the French-speaking world, and their presence on the Friday night gives the opening a huge emotional charge for Belgian and French audiences alike.

Matmatah

Breton rock institution. Matmatah’s melodic, guitar-driven songs and fiercely loyal fanbase make them a natural choice to open the festival. If you have never seen them live, this is the moment.

Roland Gift / Fine Young Cannibals

She Drives Me Crazy. Good Thing. Roland Gift’s charismatic vocals and the Fine Young Cannibals’ slinky, funky rock remain as seductive and danceable today as in the late ’80s.

New Model Army

A cult favourite for fans of post-punk and gothic rock. New Model Army have been one of the most uncompromising and authentic voices in British rock since the early ’80s, and their devoted following will travel far for a set like this.
