Few bands have had such an impact on the experimental music world as Einstürzende Neubauten. The German band around the always intriguing frontman Blixa Bargeld, who we also know as one of the founding members of The Bad Seeds, is considered a phenomenon for musical innovators of this world. They are known for manufacturing their own instruments from discarded tools and industrial materials such as steel sheets, oil drums and shopping carts. An unorthodox way of creating sound that contributes to the group’s unpredictable nature.

Unlike many of their contemporaries, the members of Einstürzende Neubauten continue to constantly seek out new musical angles. In 2020, the band celebrated its 40th anniversary with the album Alles in Allem, praised by international media. This record focuses on their relationship with Berlin, the city where it all began in 1980, and the band drew further inspiration from the melting pot of (musical) cultures that converge in the German capital. In the fall of 2024, Blixa Bargeld and his companions will release their 13th studio album, which they will come to present at De Roma, much to our delight!(source : De Roma )
