Punk is not dead!

Les Ramoneurs de Menhirs

Our favourite Celtic tribe finally returns and will once again impress with their quirky mix of electronic rhythms, punk guitars and traditional folk, all sung in Breton.

They appeared on our stage for the first time in 2019 and it was clear then that we would invite them again one day. As such, they understand the art of singing about serious topics, but at the same time just making it a real party.

Fucked Up Minds

The new Brussels crush waltz straight out of the capital’s hardcore punk scene, conquering the country with lightning-fast songs characterised by tight guitars and lyrics that show a lot of anger about the road to the abyss that mankind has taken.

Ever since their debut album “Bomb attack” from 2023, they have been growing in popularity, so it is urgently time to bring them to Leuven.

Ulrikes Dream

Founded in Leuven, this trio has been touring the frontlines of activism since 1997, always looking for new forms of injustice that urgently need to be fought.

One can expect fast riffs and pounding drums, but always provided with Dutch-language lyrics that, against all odds, are usually very intelligible themselves.

For them it’s home match, back to the city where they grew up in the squats.

Afterparty: DJ Malcolm Nix

Malcom Nix signs present for Breaking Barriers’ afterparty. Active as a DJ since the second half of the 80s, he is known from the party cycle Musiques Dépassées and numerous afterparties at Het Depot.

This resident DJ from Leuven is ready to give your dancing legs a work-out with a series of underground classics from the late 70s onwards.
