Alternative icon Bob Mould, known as former frontman of Hüsker Dü and Sugar, keeps rocking on with new songs!
Bob Mould continues to amaze! As frontman of the all too soon defunct Hüsker Dü he was one of the pioneers of the American guitar explosion in the early nineties (grunge). From furious, ultra-fast punk to well-versed guitar pop; Hüsker Dü has remained in the minds of many rock fans ever since. Mould subsequently scored another fat indie hit with Sugar -his second band- with the album “Copper Blue. This band would not last long either, as Mould pulled the plug on them as early as 1995. No problem at all, because afterwards Foo Fighters, Throwing Muses and others would call on the progressive musician. With now 62 years and more than 25 releases under his belt, this rock icon kicks off his Solo Electric tour this fall. Expect an explosive show that fuses past and present and where social criticism is not feared.
