Dave Stewart, co-founder of Eurythmics, is coming to La Madeleine in Brussels on Nov. 14 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the legendary song and album “Sweet Dreams. Expect an evening of nostalgia featuring Eurythmics’ very best songs! Tickets are available starting Friday, Sept. 8 at noon via greenhousetalent.com.

With a career spanning four decades and over 100 million albums sold worldwide, Dave Stewart, the award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, producer and co-founder of Eurythmics, is among the most respected and established talents in the history of pop music. Stewart wrote and released all of the Eurythmics albums with Annie Lennox. Together they are a world-renowned duo. He also produced and wrote albums and songs with Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, Gwen Stefani, Stevie Nicks, Bryan Ferry, Katy Perry, Sinead O’Connor, Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone and many others. Most recently, Stewart and Stone wrote the new musical “The Time Traveler’s Wife,” which will premiere at the Apollo Theatre in London’s West End in late October 2023. In 2022, Dave Stewart released “Ebony McQueen,” one of his most ambitious and autobiographical works about his remarkable life and lavish career. The successful album was launched last year and film shoots will soon begin. In addition, he recently put the finishing touches on a unique music short film titled ‘Who To Love.’ For this he collaborated with Italian band Mokadelic and famous actress Greta Scarano. The short film will premiere at the Rome Festival in October 2023.

Thanks to his extensive work, Stewart boasts a long list of prestigious awards, including over fifty ASCAP and BMI Awards, four Ivor Novello Awards for “Best Songwriter,” four BRIT Awards for “Best Producer” (including a Lifetime Achievement Award), a Golden Globe Award and a GRAMMY® Award. ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)’ by Eurythmics was recently inducted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame® and the U.S. Library of Congress National Recording Registry, in recognition of the excellence and historical value of this hit. Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame by St. Vincent in 2020. The induction ceremony took place in 2022. That same year, Eurythmics were introduced to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation by U2 guitarist The Edge due to their major impact on music. At both ceremonies, Eurythmics played the stars with a crazy show. In November 2023, Stewart will embark on the “Sweet Dreams 40th Anniversary Tour” in the United Kingdom and Europe.
