BEWIND turns five: Belgian cold wave/EBM pioneers Parade Ground headline a stacked anniversary edition at the legendary Fort II

Since its first edition in 2021, Belgian Electrowave Is Not Dead (BEWIND) has grown into one of the country’s most cherished underground gatherings — a festival built entirely around homegrown EBM, industrial, and dark electro talent. Organizers Peter and Ivan (the latter also known as Vain Sacrosanct of CauseNation) return to their spiritual home, De Wommel inside Fort II in Wommelgem, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for the 5th anniversary edition — and this time they’ve pulled out all the stops.

Parade Ground 🇧🇪 — 45 years of cold wave, live

Topping the bill is nothing short of a scene institution: Parade Ground, the Brussels cold wave/EBM duo formed in 1981 by brothers Jean-Marc and Pierre Pauly. Regarded as unsung pioneers of EBM and longtime collaborators of Front 242’s Daniel B. and Patrick Codenys, Parade Ground are deep into a run of 45th-anniversary releases and shows throughout 2026. Catching them at BEWIND means catching four decades of icy synths, propulsive drum machines, and Jean-Marc’s unmistakable, theatrical vocal delivery — this is essential viewing for anyone with a real interest in where Belgian EBM came from.

Red Forest 🇧🇪

Rounding out the bill with darker, atmospheric textures, Red Forest bring their own take on the electro-industrial spectrum to the Fort II stage.

Zynik 14 🇧🇪

A returning name to the BEWIND family of acts, Zynik 14 keep the dancefloor-driven EBM/industrial current running strong.

Deadly Sins 🇧🇪

Fresh off their 2026 single Red, Deadly Sins bring contemporary electro-industrial energy to close out — or open — the night’s rotation of homegrown talent.
