Exactly 25 years ago, Vive la Fête’s debut EP Je Ne Veux Pas was released. Party! The Belgian electro band around Els Pynoo and Danny Mommens (ex-DEUS) has been charming the party scene since the very beginning with songs like “Nuit Blanche,” “Maquillage,” “Touche pas” and the dark-manic “Noir Désir. So it didn’t take long for them to count themselves among the top of the electroclash genre. The fashion world also quickly fell into swoon for the duo. Not only did Vive La Fête perform in concert halls and on festival stages worldwide, but the band also starred at Karl Lagerfeld’s fashion shows. On March 30, the band will celebrate its 25th anniversary and treat its fans to a live concert as well as a live album bursting with energy.
