## Bursa’s dark export
Few bands have shaped the modern darkwave revival like **She Past Away**. Formed in Bursa, Turkey, the band grew into a duo around **Volkan Caner** (vocals, guitars, songwriting) and **Doruk Öztürkcan** (drums, synths, production). Their sound blends eighties post-punk guitars and cold synths with minimalist poetry sung entirely in Turkish, and it has taken them from small clubs to headline slots at festivals such as Wave-Gotik-Treffen.
Live, She Past Away are an experience of their own: driving beats, shadowy visuals and an intensity that turns any room into a dark dance temple. Fans can expect club favourites like *Durdu Dünya* and *Ruh* alongside the new material.

## Mizantrop
In 2026 the duo released **Mizantrop**, their first new record in years. The seven tracks were made after a long stretch of worldwide touring. They keep the band’s familiar melancholic, bass-driven post-punk while digging deeper into isolation and introspection. Highlights include the single *İnziva* and the title track *Mizantrop*. Like *Belirdi Gece* and *Narin Yalnızlık* before it, the record closes with an instrumental, *İçe Kapanış III*.
