Radio Willy and Het Depot are launching a third edition of New Wave Night!
Be welcome to this explosion of the best, most obscure and most dynamic new wave music! DJs Gust Decoster, Marcel Vanthilt and Malcolm Nix provide the perfect soundtrack. And to top it off, German cult band DAF (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) kicks off the evening with a stirring mix of punk, electronica and experimental sounds.

Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft (DAF) is an influential German electronic music band founded in 1978. The band, consisting of Gabi Delgado-López and Robert Görl, was known for their minimalist synth sounds and provocative lyrics. Their groundbreaking blend of punk, electronica and experimental sounds earned them a cult following and influenced countless other artists. DAF remains an iconic name in the history of electronic music. An honor to welcome them to Het Depot, then.
DJ Gust De Coster
Back in time with Gust De Coster during New Wave Night at Het Depot on April 26! With a shining career as resident-DJ in legendary Brussels (youth) clubs, DJ at FM Bruxel Sound System (with Max Alexander, also known as Marcel Vanthilt) and performances on Ibiza and festivals such as the Blue Note Jazz Festival, Gust knows like no other how to immerse you in legendary a mix of 70s and 80s sounds.

Dance parties until 6 a.m. in the AB, the M-Show, his own career with Arbeid Adelt! and of course his passages on the past editions of New Wave Night: Marcel Vanthilt is a child of die Neue Welle. And his name is on the bill again this year! Anything goes: as long as it’s tight and danceable.
DJ Malcolm Nix
Leuven resident-DJ Malcolm Nix, known from the party cycle Musiques Dépassées and numerous afterparties at Het Depot, is ready to give your dancing legs a work-out with a series of underground classics from the new wave and related genres. Long ago Gust De Coster was one of his biggest inspirations and now – ten years after they first shared the turntables together – they are happy to do it again especially for New Wave Night.
