Today’s cutting-edge dark music is a melting pot of styles—delivering everything from irresistible dark disco and EBM grooves to punk energy and poetic imagination. The bands lighting up the lineup at Inclassable are more than trendsetters; they’re antidotes to the everyday grey (we prefer black!) and true inspirations for creative minds and change-makers.
Dear Deer (Lille, France)
Combining dark disco, electro, and pop-rock with new-wave cool, Dear Deer are a French duo with international acclaim. Their energetic live shows and production are infused with the DNA of The Kills, New Order, and the B-52’s, making their music perfect for the dancefloor and playlists alike. Their videos have already amassed over 200,000 views—a testament to their growing cult status.
Factheory (Brussels, Belgium)
A cornerstone band from Brussels’ post-punk and EBM scene, Factheory blend energetic, expressive performance with poetic lyrics. Their sound, influenced by the legendary Factory label (think Joy Division), weaves elements of post-punk, electronica, dark wave, and new wave into astonishingly unified albums such as “Serenity in Chaos.” Internationally recognized for their emotive live shows and introspective approach, Factheory are acclaimed both at home and abroad, and videos like “Waves” continue to reach growing audiences.
Tisiphone (Lyon, France)
Exploring the cold-wave and experimental end of the spectrum, Tisiphone crafts hypnotic, dreamlike soundscapes often reminiscent of The Ex or Blurt. Their music is as much about mood and atmosphere as rhythm, making each performance wholly immersive.
Kregel (Gent, Belgium)
Kregel brings the punk and expressionist rock tradition of Flanders to the stage, channeling the raw power of acts like Aroma di Amore and TC Matic. Their deeply committed brand of rock is both nostalgic and fiercely modern.
Anomalie Magnétique (Lyon, France)
For fans of abysmal electro and hybrid techno, Anomalie Magnétique is a revelation. Mixing industrial, EBM, and dark disco influences, their high-energy rhythms never fail to surprise and ignite the crowd.
Seven Tigers (Brussels, Belgium)
An offspring of projects like Quarantaine and Frozen Nation, Seven Tigers deliver concise synthpop and dark disco mini-sets. Their sound is lush, danceable, and filled with hooks, making them an ideal “starter” for any dark music event.
Misty Dark Sound (DJ)
Setting the stage before, between, and after sets, Misty Dark Sound is an established DJ across Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels, and even Athens. Curating the perfect sonic background, Misty guides the audience on a journey through the depths of dark alternative dance floors.
Venue & Organization
The Inclassable event is hosted at the Croissant asbl / Studio Thor, a new and welcoming concert hall, and is co-organized by seasoned curators So New Wave—known for their legendary parties at Drink Drink and NoClassiX nights at B21.
This lineup isn’t just a gig roster—it’s a showcase of Europe’s most exciting dark, post-punk, and electro innovators. Each act offers a unique perspective, inviting fans to dance, dream, and reflect—a truly indispensable experience for lovers of modern alternative music.
