GOETHES ERBEN + THE ARCH + UNFARBEN 8 march 2026 THE BLACK LAB WASQUEHAL (F)

by photosindarkness

This evening, organized by Forest Sound Production, transforms The Black Lab into a veritable temple of alternative electronic music. Goethes Erben will deploy its unique blend of musical theater and poetry, creating an intense and immersive darkwave that makes each performance a unique sensory experience. The German band’s dark, emotional, and visceral universe promises to captivate audiences in the North.

The lineup is rounded out by The Arch, a Belgian band that brings an electrifying wave of dark energy and hypnotic melodies, and Unfarben, masters of the alchemy between dark atmospheres, minimalist elegance, and coldwave intensity.

Founded in January 1989 by Oswald Henke and Peter Seipt, Goethes Erben (“Goethe’s Heirs”) quickly developed a unique identity combining music and theater. After Peter Seipt left in 1990, the band was enriched with Mindy Kumbalek on keyboards and saxophone, and Conny R. on guitar, evolving from a duo to a more complex formation.

The band’s musical style combines dark wave, avant-garde music, and electropop, characterized by lyrics mostly sung in German and a strong theatrical dimension. Their concerts incorporate dance, stage performance, and video projections, creating a totally immersive experience. The album Nichts bleibt wie es war marked their commercial success by entering the German charts.https://theblacklab.fr/agenda/goethes-erben-the-arch-unfarben/
