About NITZER EBB in 2026
Following the tragic and untimely passing of vocalist Douglas McCarthy, remaining band members Bon Harris and David Gooday have chosen to continue Nitzer Ebb’s legacy on stage. For the 2026 dates, they present a renewed live show featuring Tim Kroker (Front 242) on drums in Europe and Jason Payne on drums in North and South America, promising an intense set full of emotion and energy.
As pioneers of EBM, Nitzer Ebb helped define the genre with hard-hitting basslines, militant rhythms and slogan-like vocals. Their headline slot at International EBM Day 2026 is a unique opportunity to experience this influential band in an intimate Belgian setting.
Special guests and EBM day concept
For this edition of International EBM Day, Nitzer Ebb will be joined by special guests SIIE, who are also official tour support and have promised a specially tailored, EBM-infused set for the occasion. International EBM Day itself is dedicated to celebrating Electronic Body Music, a genre strongly shaped by Belgian icons Front 242 and embraced by a worldwide fanbase. Because the historical date 24.2 falls mid-week in 2026, the celebration moves to the nearest Saturday, 21.02, allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in the extended programme.

After the concerts, resident DJ BORG will fuel the afterparty with a selection of Electronic Body Music, wave and related dark electronics to keep the dancefloor moving late into the night.
